Really interesting & entertaining movie! action packed, with a lot of fun involved...Loved taylor lautner in this he did a great job! i recommend this to everyone :)
It was alright, the acting was good - much better then his previous featuring in "The Twilight Saga". I didn't enjoy all the mushy romance because to be honest, it wasn't the time nor place for it. The girls eyebrows were horrid.
The overall copy of the movie was alright, it kept jumping from time to time but didn't really take away from the movie.
So it was an alright watch, kind of interesting. I started getting a little bored here and there. Commercials make a movie seem soo much better ya know? 4 out of 5 stars. I would have thought of more action. Th quality was okay, viewable. Love Zmovie sooo freaking awesome!
It was ok nothing out of the usual action thriller though it falls short
Well Taylor has grown up, though his acting skills are not sharp yet nonetheless still a good film to watch. I thought it would have been more action packed but a good movie for a 19yr lead. Not many have the chance for a lead at such young age but this guy did, no Twilight doesn't count since he was one of the leads but not the only lead like this. It was missing more fighting scenes, not enough, more special effects, there were hardly any and a few twists here and there. The movie was very predictable, no sexy scenes and poor sound effects. I was little disappointed that Taylor didn't snap, if that would have been me at his age I would have snapped. Please don't read any further spoiler alert spoiler alert!!!!! If I found out I was on a missings list, was placed into a strangers house and found out I was being train to kill then trust me I would have not been so kind and that innocent look would have been wiped off my face. If ur looking for a decent movie to watch and have nothing else then go ahead it's a good enough movie. Overall score 7/10 sorry that's what it deserves.
Wasn't expecting much, figured it was riding on the twilight kids name. Surprisingly it was pretty good. It was a bit far fetched but what action movie isn't? The kid is a decent actor and Sigoureny Weaver was great as always (although her part is small)
Big up's to John Singlton for showcasing my home town. He and his crew depicted the cities landscape by mixing in not only the newer architectual marvel's (Pnc Park), but by including the older as well (Penn Station, The old House Atop Grandview Ave.). I also injoyed throughout the film the charecture was drawn back to the city to showcase a good bit of what the great city of Pittsburgh has to offer to film maker's and resident's alike. The plot was action pact, however a little far fetched. How many 17 year old kids do you know that could pull off some of the thing's this kid did? Other than that it was a good film. Absolute superb cinemtogrophy. Allthough action was the mainstay of the plot the back drop offered mystery,love story,with a teenie bopper after school special kind of feel. Maybe I'm being byass in giving this review because of the film's location. I have to ask myself "If this had been shot in NY, would my perseption have been the same?" Oh well, good thing it was in the burgh.......RSK.
Grandiose cliches.. but contains some interetsing Predictive Programing..
Bad movie.. unless you are a 17yr old boy perhaps..? God knows.. For me this was very generic, cliched material aimed at 17yr olds or younger. So not a decent movie for me..
As regards Predictive Programing however, the surveillance in this movie is very significant, in that they accurately include the changes in legislation which allow governments to covertly record your conversations by remotely activating the microphone your mobile phone and recording you, even if your mobile phone is turned off, which was introduced globally a year or so ago.
Also the film is clearly pro-CIA and pro-Government, as despite numerous assassinations the plot is essentially VERY sympathetic and loyal in emotional tone to the CIA, but simultaneously portrays them as double agents and therefore untrustworthy. No change there :) They LOVE to mess with your head by telling you to feel loyal or sympathetic to governement murderers, whilst telling you in the same breath that they double cross you. Love the jack-booted thug, seems to be the meme here..
So all in all a very Globalist film politically, full of Predictive Programing about surveillance of the public and lack of privacy that goes with it currently employed by big brother globalists. Perhaps they are hoping that 17yr old boys will watch this and think that the government covertly recording their conversations using their mobile phone is a GOOD thing? Who knows. But I suspect this is more globalist mind control to get people subliminally conditioned to accepting the spying, surveillance and lack of privacy the New World Order has in store. So yes, another mind-control film.. basically.. No change there..
@Ifptheng I agree with you. Commenting on this site should be about the movie (one's thoughts and ratings), not about all this conspiracy/government stuff. Its getting really annoying because when I want to read reviews on the site, I always see comments like this. :(

All of his posts insist on the movie being pro-government/world annihilation, and I am sick of seeing the comments when I am trying to read relevant movie reviews. He is trying to spread retarded ideologies; and personally I think he is doing it in the wrong place.

recently its so annoying to watch movies on this site cuz its always freezing throughout the hole movie ,breaking up from the beginning to the end . any solution ????
I liked this movie, great action and Taylor was great in it...I'm kinda confused by the name of the film though, I dont think it should have been named abduction...4/5*
Pretty good film 4/5, though I'm not at proper terms with the ending. It's definitely a suspense/mystery, but the whole conflict was given up in the beginning lol. In my opinion, "Unknown" (2011) was a better film in this genre. It isn't a waste of your time.
I did not like this movie. Started out really slow, the acting was not the greatest and was a bit weird at times. It did have a lot of action which was ok. Looking at Taylor was the best part.
