This movie was goodness. I went through something similar once before and trust me it so very hard. I didn't even feel like i was watching a movie I felt like I was watching a couple in their relationship. The acting was very real and I just loved it. Best romantic movie of 2011. Oh, and I love Yelchin.
This was a terrible film for me, soooooooooo soppy. The female actor and her family accent is just way too annoying for me , sorry. The most exciting bit is when she cant get back into USA at the airport. I fast fowarded it, its the same the whole way through. Supermov quality was great though.
I loved the portrayal of this movie. It was so believable, so honest on how real long distance relationships are. With the ending....I thought it ended at just the right place. After all they've gone through, all the ending seemed to state is the start of a new beginning together. I think that said it all.
i think no matter how this movie ended, it was great, that is how real life is, they ended up together, no matter at end they came back together and their love for each other were stronger and yes it might of seem that they were with other people but their love were even stronger because at the end you see each other holding those memories of each other on the past and they didn't give up. i am happy how it ended because you just don't see them feeling weird about each other, and yes they do feel weird because they both had been with other people but what it made it to have a meaningful end was that they each remember how at the beginning their love grew and how they wanted to move on growing those feeling for each other.. i am happy that they each had the courage to put aside whoever they were with and re-unite each other to be together.. :)
Frustrating. Loved the story. Brilliantly acted. Great chemistry. But the end... oh dear lord. Oh and i get that the whole pretentiously indie-esque ending without ending is cool, but only when the ambiguity isn't so god damn frustrating. That being said, its definately worth a watch.
FINALLY!..A love story worth watching MAJOR props to everyone involved in this movie it was so moving and a true story between two people absolutely loved it
